Day 4 in paradise- Dominican Republic
We have arrived at complete peace by day 4 and nothing could awaken us from our 'zen'. Vince has signed up for scuba diving and I settle into a beach chair to read and relax. I'm reading a book written by Phillip Sheppard, the CBS contestant on 2 seasons of Survivor. It's called The Legends of Things Past. It is a science fiction story and I'm enjoying every word. I met him recently and interviewed him on my talkshow- HomeMade Money.
I love how you can escape in books. I love traveling in my mind to faraway places. I have plopped down on a chair in-between the beach and the pool and I can see a game of beach volleyball right past my chair. My heads bobs back and forth as I watch the game, then read a little, then scan the beach and then rotate through again.
For the most part unless we are in a certain section- there isn't much of a cell signal and I'm enjoying the break from electronics.
Vince brings me lunch around 11:30 and by now we've moved to the Zen Oasis, an adult only pool at Club Med. It is quieter than the rowdy beach pool. Vince settles into a chair to write while I order a refreshing drink at the pool bar.
The scenery here is breathtaking. Weather has been phenomenal while we've been here. And to think I thought it would rain every day. I shoot a video for Bobbie Schwartz's web site - Be Iconic Business, we shoot an Intimacy Journey Video- then we return back to R& R.
Dinners here are fabulous. The food is out of this world fantastic. We stop by the photographers office and pick up our digital prints from the wedding. They are all we'd hoped and more. Wow- what a day. One more day in paradise.
